So I thought I would do a few cards for The Greeting Farm blog contest. Prize is a $50 gift certificate to their store, not to shabby if you ask me. And nothing gained if I don't at least try, right.
The challenge for this contest is to use buttons, easy enough. I was inspired by watercolor for this card. A bit of smooshing of colors provided a nice background. I colored one of my Creepin Crew girls, this one is named Abbey. I used a Stampin Up banner die along with some stickers and Simon Says sentiment stamp from their birthday set. Added a few buttons and a tiny epoxy heart sticker for the dot over the i.
I should have a few more cards since I have a whole month to participate which is very convenient for a busy person like myself.
Cute card, Leslie! I need to try out that smooshing technique because you're background looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's a winner in my book, Leslie! Love the background and your coloring is amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you fussy cut the girl?!? If so, I'm impressed! Very cute card...
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card. I really like the smooshed watercolor. Just did a background for an art journal page that way.
