Cowboy Kids

I really liked this photo of my dh and his sisters. It's just the quintessential example of every early 60s county Christmas. The matching plaid shirts, the hats and my dh with his 6 shooters.

I left a spot for him to journal. I have done a few pages for him and then I decided that was really very silly of me, after all these are his pictures, they should be his thoughts and handwriting. He confessed he didn't know much about that picture but claimed he didn't go anywhere without his 6 shooters so I told him to journal just that. I think he'll get the hang of scrapbooking just yet.

  1. Another darling layout, Leslie, and love that he'll be adding his thoughts to it! Ah yes, matching outfits at the holidays was a big thing for our family too.

I love the idea of him doing the journaling on the layouts you are making for him

  6. Thanks for the inspiration! I like the craft background for "vintage" photos too. I just discovered a photo of my husband and his two brothers in their cowboy splendor and I'm inspired to create a layout.
