I was originally going to watercolor some flowers for this pattern paper but at the last minute I couldn't help feeling the tropical colors and went with the flamingos instead. I created the background in watercolor then stamped, colored with copics and die cut the flamingos and corresponding grass.
These cute guys are one of my favorites from Avery Elle.

Good Things
One of the cards I worked on at the expo. The stamp is from Rubberneckers. I often find funny sentiments from them that go perfectly with stamps I have on hand. The shark of course is from MFTS.

Happy Birthday - Diamond Dotz
So I don't know if any of you have heard of Diamond Dotz or not, but they're kind of addicting. My bff has about 3 really large ones she's doing and will display in her home, me not so much.
At the expo in our Make and Take we or rather I was totally introduced into actually how fun they are. They gave us a nice little project and I immediately set task at hand (completely out of order for the scheduled make and takes) and completed mine lickety split.
If you have never heard of them they are basically the new way of creating paint by numbers The canvas has a picture scene, not all of it is covered with diamond dotz and it's highly tacky with a glue substance. Then all you do is find your dotz which have a bit of a sheen or bling to them but not like a crystal more plasticty and stick them on the corresponding symbol. It's easy, no brainer, time killer, addictingly fun craft.
Here is there website https://www.diamonddotz.com/
And I purchased mine at the expo here https://kreativekreations.me/diamond-dotz/
I see that there also online at places like Walmart and Michaels.
I currently am finishing up one of the larger Halloween ones with the 3 pumpkins that I plan to mat and frame for my dd as a Halloween decoration. It's a nice size and the boys will love it!
Anyhoo. I took a small one to get my feet a little bit more wet and used it to create a card. The kit for the one in the card ran me $5, but you get everything you need to create the picture.

Here is a close up so that you can see they are like tiny enamel dots but I promise there is a sparkle to them, just hard to see via computer. I also sprinkled glitter all over mine because as you can see there are tiny gaps where the tacky substance is exposed. I didn't want to worry about dust and dirt clinging to it so I just used a fine white glitter to stick to all those places.

Thanks So Much in Pink
And one more pink themed card, these are actually ranunculus, how ironic that I should do them in pink when the ones in my front yard are this very color. Ok not really ironic, you knew I was inspired, right?

You're SImply The Best in Pink
I am a sucker for these poppy's from Penny Black. Normally I go for orange but his time I went Pink!
It's a pretty simple card nothing too complicated and I even kept the it clean, no splatters this time. The stamped sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

Spring is Around the Corner - Happy Birthday in Pink
Well my pink Ranunculus are blooming and I am very much thinking pink this week as you will see with some pink themed cards.
Loving our hints of warm weather but I am racing against mother nature trying to repaint my Pergola before I have my two wisteria vines go into full bloom. Glad to say I am officially 3/4 of the way done and it's a huge overhang but when these two vines (one is a double bloom in purple and white; very fragrant and the other is Pink) are full of blossoms they will look spectacular against the white wood.
I love the punch of black with the pink water colored flowers. And that hint of pp peeking out was a new purchase at the Expo, its a 6x6 pad from Lawn Fawn. Makes me feel spring happy!

Late Valentine's Day Project (Photo Heavy)
When I went to the expo I made sure I worked on this little book for my dd. I had started it with the intent to give it to her for Valenitne's Day but alas it didn't work out that way. I still wanted to finish it and give it to her none the less. Most all the product is just stuff that is so old that I was happy to be able to use.

Wish you the most Beautiful Day
I was enjoying the water coloring so deiced to work on a few flowers. When I walk I see these gorgeous roses that are red on the inside and then have yellow edges so I tried to mimic that here, you can see I failed miserably and somehow ended up with yellowish orange. I then die cut the flowers but stamped the leaves on the background. It still needed a bit more bling so on went the sequins.
The stamps are all from Altenew.
