Again, here are those traditional red/black colors that cry out Valentine's Day. I used my stitched heart die along with a heart border die from Papertrey Ink. This was another fast card. All I had to do was die cut the heart, the heart border from some glitter paper and the Love die, assemble and add the stamped you. Easy Peasy.
Hi there, this is my little spot in the world where I can share with you some of the passions of my life. I hope you find this a place of inspiration that you can use or share. If you find something you like please feel free to "scraplift me" as they say, you can credit me or not either way I don't mind, just enjoy the journey.

Love Forever & Always
I used the Lawn Fawn stitched X die again for this frame. Also found another punched heart I had laying around along with the Love and Arrow die from Papertrey Ink. Have to say when you have excess die cuts stashed it really makes for an easy card. All I had to do was assemble, add the stamp sentiment and epoxy hearts, how hard is that.

Love Always
Another traditional colored Valentine's Day card. As I was browsing around for a few things I found theese punched hearts and knew they belonged together. I had the wooden word which originally said Lovely so I just cut off the ly and used just the Love portion of it.
A strip of pp laying around made for a quick back drop and just needed to stamp my always and die cut a glitter heart. Done and done.

Sweet Love
Ok enough with the non traditional colors time for an honest to goodness straight up typical Valentine's Day card.
I loved these stitched heart dies from Lawn Fawn, definitely a new favorite of mine. I also like the stitched X rectangle dies also from Lawn Fawn. The pp was from Pebbles, Inc and I think I bought it last year, big fat pad so plenty to use up still. The flourish is from Memory box and the Sweet Love stamp/die set is from Papertrey Ink. I added a few punched leaves and adorned the card with paper flower along with some epoxy hearts.
A perfect little Vanlentine's Day card if I do say so myself.

Love You
You know when you see a stamp set and there is one or maybe two stamps that you really want but the other stamps are just kind of filler. You see them, you like them, but you never really use them; well that's what this card is about today. I decided to use some of those filler stamps from the Only Have Eyes for You stamp set from Simon Says Stamp
I also decided to continue with my non typical color scheme and instead of focusing on hearts I opted to focus on circles. Well there you have it another non traditional Valentine's Day Card.

Love Always
How about a little Valentine's Day card? I admit it's early but if the stores can start selling Valentine's Day stuff in December than I am right on time.
I decided not to go with traditional red/white/black and pink color schemes, instead I thought a fun rainbow color would be a nice switch up.
I gave the flowers a little dimension by using a stylus tool to push down the centers and used enamel dots for the centers. I also popped up the scallop heart to give it a little more interest.
And there you have it my first Valentine's Day card for 2017.

Believe
One more water color card. I decided try something a bit different and opted for a circle as the focus of the card. I tried a lot of different font dies but this Believe really seemed to work the best.

With Thanks
As I continue on my water coloring spree I am able to get my Thank you cards done. I must say I stamped for years and never did much masking until lately. Now that seems to be all I am doing. But in order to get the stamps to layer one must mask.
I was drawn to the yellow on this card because I have a yellow rose bush that turns a slight apricot and then deepens in orange as it ages. My husband gave it to me for Mother's Day one year and it's always a delight to see in bloom.
Its been raining non stop around here and unfortunately when that happens my lighting for photos is compromised more than I would like. Hopefully the sun will be shining soon, as much as I like the rain I do enjoy our sunshine.

Water Color Thank You
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a splendid time with your family and friends over the holidays. Cards at the bottom for everyone who just wants to skip the read.
Finally back in my craft room after all the hectic things that goes on during the holidays. I found myself wanting to watercolor. Now I usually use either Tim Holtz Distress Inks or Kuretake paints but I also had purchased some Peerless paints which I love but they don't come in a box or on a palette of any sort and unfortunately I can't tell what the colors look like. As you can see below, it's difficult to know the fronts from the backs.
I have been meaning to make some sort of functional sampler set for them and I took this opportunity to do so. First I had to mount them on to something. Having some crappy cheap watercolor paper (90 lbs) I cut those up into small rectangles then mounted the Peerless sheets with double sided tape.
After they were mounted I then put a small sample of color on the upper edge and hole punched the corner As you can see some of those colors look nothing like their sample
And here they are all nice and neat ready to use and I can now tell which color is which.

Now that I am all organized I can finally proceed onto my card.
