All You Need Is Love

I wanted to do another Love diecut card because it was just so fun and easy. This time I grabbed my Memory Box  Large Parker deluxe lowercase dies because I thought they would be fun to use and give me a marquee feel to the card.

I diect the letters and glued them on to my card panel, then stamped the all you need is sentiment from my Papertrey Ink Wonderful words stamps set and found an expoy arrow and some hearts for the final touch.

One thing that might be hard to notice is I mounted the white card panel onto a shimmery silver one which is then adhered to the main card. It reaslly gives a great overall look for a Valentine's Day card.

Peace on Earth

Well my fellow blog readers I received a delightful email over the weekend. Appears that Scrapbook.com is featuring one of my cards in their Top 10 Holiday Cards article. I have been playing with some warm and cozy flannel and it inspired me to make this card. The greys and reds against the white really spoke to me so I replicated it.

The Peace die and sentiment stamps is from Papertrey Ink. the little house and tree die is from Memory Box and the fallen snow stencil is from My Favorite Things stamps.

Halloween - Spider Webs

I decided to get back to my Halloween cards. Nothing really new here, just using a die from Memory Box and added a few background spider webs using a stamp from Studio G and the sentiment is from one of those bargain basement type stamps from Michaels.

I came to the realization that I don't own many image type Halloween stamps other than Kraftin Kimmie and some from Stampin Up and just a couple from Papertrey Ink. I guess that gives me the excuse to go and buy some, damn the bad luck!
