Merry Christmas - Kraftin Kimmie

Not quite ready for Christmas yet but I am feeling maxed out on Halloween cards so changing it up a bit and starting on Christmas cards.

I love the bright festive colors and am using more of these on my cards, in fact I actually have some pastel pink and lavender than I am in love with.

This guy is from Kraftin Kimmie and I stamped him on some cardstock and colored his with copics. Die cut the panel from MTFS and popped the panel up on some pink and main pp.

Happy Mother's Day

Well after my long and fun vacation I realized how soon Mother's Day was and figured I better hop to it and make some sort of card for my mom.

I picked out this Delphinium stamp from Clearly Besotted. I figured a purplish blue flower would be a safe bet. I stamped and colored one flower then stamped, colored and fussy cut another one so I could pop it up a bit.

Looking for the right stamp is crazy when I needed something so small for my tag, thus I opted to hand write it in. Not as pretty but it sure does the trick.

Shark card

I saw these stamps/die combo from Avery Elle and knew in an instant I had to have them. They will be great for some guy cards.

Since I knew I had purchased the Shark stamp set I stopped in at the Rubbernecker booth at the Expo and picked up a fun little sentiment to use with them.

I colored all that blue ocean with copics and both stamped and die cut the fishes, popping up the die cut ones. I added a few clouds and clear enamel dots.

This card is going to be for my Father In Law's Father's Day card.

Sarah Kay - WIshing You

Sharing more of those Sarah Kay stamps by Stampavie, they are simply too sweet.

Again, stamped the image then colored with my copics, pp from Teresa Collins, stitched die cut from My Favorite stamps, Wishing you was layered to give it a bit of depth and is from Simon Says Stamp.

HW - Scene It

I have been noticing a lot of cards lately that are pretty much a mini scene and really like they way they look. I decided it was my time to attempt one, not as good as what I have seen but hey it's my first time.

I used Tim Holtz Distressed Inks to create a setting sun look, die cut the grave yard from Memory Box, then stamped my Kraftin Kimmie witch, colored it with copics and yes ladies I fuss cut it..I decision I kind of having second thoughts about as I was doing it. The moon and clouds are from Papertrey Ink as well as the sentiment . 

And there you have it my first attempt at creating a scene.

TGF - Cheeky Birthday

Here is another card for this month's challenge at The Greeting Farm. Using the Cheeky Rockabilly stamp colored with copics, some more Heidi Swapp pp, new circle stamp sentiment from Simon Says, and a few odds and ends to complete the card.

As you can see I decided to fussy cut a bit of the stamp so she hung off the circle.

Furry Friends

I am running a bit late today because as you know my mother is moving and we are making a mad dash in these final days to get her moved from a 3500 sq ft home down to a 1900 sq ft home and lets just say she's got a lot of stuff. We were at her house all day until late in the evening so I didn't get a chance to get the blog ready for my usual 5am launch.

Any hoo Simon Says Stamp Wed Blog had a Furry Friend challenge and I thought I would participate and give some of my stamps a little love. I also opted to color in some sky which I don't normally do but it was time to step  out of my comfort zone a bit.

The pp is from Heidi Swapp and I really don't recommend it, it's pretty thin. The stamp is from Stampin Up, colored with copics of course and the sentiment die and stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
