Rubbernecker stamps

When I go to the Expo one of my favorite places to shop is at the Rubbernecker stamp booth. Not only do they make a nice quality stamp where the images come out crisp and clean but they have the most unique and funny stamps I have ever seen. I love their sentiments and have to stop myself from buying armfuls of them. Below is a new stamp sentiment I purchased along with a stamp I purchased last year with the fish with the worm.

I think this card would make a great Father's Day card for my FIL. He has a huge sense of humor.

Some of the other sentiments for ones that I did not buy but loved were:

"I made it through the day without beating anyone with a chair. I'd say my people skills are improving."

"My boss told me Dress for the job you want, not for the job you have. Now I am sittin gin a disciplinary meeting wearing my Catwoman costume."

"You know that little thing inside your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, I don't  have one of those."

"Marriage is a relationshp in which one person is always right and the other is the husband."

"My office recently started cocktail Fridays! Its just that it takes place in the ladies room handicap stall...
and I'm the only one who knows about."

"God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world. Then He made teh world round and laughed and laughed..."

Have a Great Friday!

Paris - The Louvre

Well trying to squeeze as many photos as I can on a 2 page. Thought I would do an ode to PL pages since it's hard to find new ways to put so many pictures on just two pages. I did like the folding card for adding a lot of journaling.

I popped up the title to give it some interest.

Paris - Montamartre

I am still chipping away at finishing my pages from my trip to Europe last May. I can't believe it's taking so long. Funny but when you are on your trip you think of all the pages you want to do, grap souvenirs galore and then you get back home..upload your photos and then that's where they stay..slowly but surely you drag your feet and you get a few done. I am finally down to the nitty gritty, but I still have all of London to do and it's so hard to scrap 1001 pictures on a two page layout. Feeling regret for omitting any I have taken. I wish I had figured out the whole Project Life theme for vacation pictures before I did all these layouts..oh well live and learn as they say.

Anyhoo sorry for rambling, but here is my Montmartre page. I had some bling that was like ribbon and decided it really worked here becuase although Montamartre is very historical it's also very beautiful in it's own way.  And I see my little camera chipboard went for a ride..sorry about that.

More PL for Houdini

I realize I don't seem to have the time to stay on top of a weekly PL but, now that the kitty is about 8 months and I am running out of protectors so capturing every few weeks should be about right to get me to her one year.

It's funny that this little girl loves to be outside but, every night around 9pm she comes back inside and snuggles with me and stays in for the night. I love that she does this and I don't have to worry about her roaming at night. She doesn't seem to care about the front yard either so she pretty much sticks to the backyards of our house and a neighbors house right next to ours where a little elderly lady lives.

Card inspired by my garden

First off I want to announce the winner from my Glitz kit giveaway from Monday, Congratulations to

what an awesome layout! lovin the white backdrop!

If you can send me an email at 1whoscraps@gmail.com with your address I will ship that right out to you.

I am loving my garden right now, it's so nice to sit outside after I get off work and enjoy all the tulips in bloom. I loved the mix of purple, pink and yellow and already gone were my white hyacinths which gave me inspiration to stamp a card with those colors.

So here is my garden and while I think my card came out fairly well I have to tell you among the 6 or 7 purple inks I own, none were close to the purple in my garden, but you have to work with what you have.

And this is the card

Pint Sized Fun and a Giveaway

Sharing a layout of my two youngest grandsons. I bought a slide for Zack's birthday and they enjoyed every minute of it. The pp is older and using up some washi tape as strips. Have to say I am late to the game with the washi tape..I think my collection is now up to 12 rolls.

Used the Cameo to cut the the fonts and added a bunch of fun embellies off to the side along with some tiny stars.

I received a Glitz kit from the Expo and while I love the paper I really don't have a use for it so I added some ink and thought I would give it away to one lucky poster. Just leave me a post and then I will do a random number draw. Just be sure and check back on Wednesday to see if it's you.
